Nokia Lumia 900 adds a number of new features including a larger 4.3in display and a front facing camera when compared to Nokia Lumia 800 released just a few weeks ago. The Nokia Lumia 900 is basically a larger Lumia 800. The Nokia Lumia 900 will be available in black, white cyan and magenta colours.
Other specifications include a single-core 1GHz Scorpion processor from Qualcomm, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash, and a front-facing camera for video chatting.
Interestingly, the Nokia Lumia 900 is a dual-channel HSDPA phone, which should make it one of the fastest 3G phones on the market. This technology provides theoretical maximum data speeds of 42 megabits per second (Mbps) — though you are never going to see these speeds in real use, the technology means data speeds should be faster than many other regular 3G smartphones.
Nokia did not officially announce if a white version of the Lumia 900 would be coming to AT&T as an LTE version, but we sure hope it does. The Lumia 900 will launch globally in Q2 and is expected to cost 480 EUR before any carrier subsidies.
