3. Then Data fetching starts by application from android SDK packages.
4. After completing loading process select the android package that you want to install.
to run Android selecting the �Android 4.0 (API 14)� and �Android SDK Platform-tools� (under Tools).

- Now run SDK Manager from downloaded folder.

Set Up Android 4.0 Emulator
To run Android 4.0 now you need to setup Android Emulator
9) - Open Android SDK folder and run �AVD Manager�. Click on �New� and create a Virtual Device with details as in the screenshot below.
9 Click on ok popup window.
10. Select the virtual device you just created from the list and click on �Start�.
11. After few seconds an launch window starts the select launch option.
12. Then some pocess work starts including flashing command promotes .
You have to keep patience till Android starts it may take more than 5 min at first time .
Now you will see android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich starts as shown in below screen shot:
Now Android 4.0 is ready to start fun.
Note:- The above steps followed and android worked fine in Windows7 . Your Android should start if you followed steps correctly. This trick is for educational purpose only.

when i try this it works nicely as u show until step 8 but when i close sdk manager now and open AVD manager i see my list of AVD empty and when i try to create new i cannot add values to it...please help

i hve installed all and only startup screen showing :(
It may be because of your hardware configuration is less.
All files needed .
it requires internet connection and its about 128 MB
4.1 jelly bean works like a charm. but bit laggy.
