First thing to apply Custom theme effect is your phone must be hacked. You can hack your phone in 1 min without PC easily with our tutorial here - Hack symbian
Now Download any theme effects from our site - 20 Cool Theme effects for symbian
Open rompatcher and apply Openfor all and C2Z or E2Z patches (if you not have romepatcher then get it from hack Symbian download link)
Note:- Every device have different C2Z patch you can create it with this application and apply by rompatcher - C2Z Maker
You will found effects folder in achived folder (that theme effect folder you downloaded) place that to C:/resources
Now go to menu/settings/theme/general/theme and go option then choose theme effect and select ON.
Now you done. Enjoy !!!

Not sure but it should work if you done everything exact.
You must apply C2Z patch in order to make Custome theme effect work. Every mobile has diffrent C2X Code so you can make one by C2Z patch maker :http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?1drvbi78rd7byzr
Install this app and run then go to Option >Generate Patch . Select E:/ patches folder as patch saved path.

Try Different Patch Maker.
First generate Patch from E2Z Patch maker then place that patch in "Patches" forlder. Now it appears in RomPatcher.
c2z patch marked red on my 700

You need to create own c2z patch from c2z patch maker.Once it generated place it in your patches folder and aplly from rompatcher.

There is no effect option under Themes, I patched c2z with patch maker but it doesnt show up in rompatcher so that I can run it, added the effect folder under c:\resources with Y-Browser, I tested with Effectshavoc folder, but nothing under themes settings for any effects, it seems to be just another gimmick, stop fooling us, I am advanced user and have my phone hacked and know to get into any system files/folder, so I have done things exactly mentioned and got no error, still no option, bullshit, trollsome post >.<

and you must move that c2z patch to C patches folder

hy after a restart i always have to make settings again and again otherwise some effects aren't working
